Frame
- Fully homogeneously welded, which resists fractures for maximum strength
- High impact acrylic modified U.P.V.c with smooth non-pourus gloss finish, which resists scratches and damage. B.S 7413: 2002 Table 1
- The surface finish is stabilised against UV light to prevent excessive colour shift. B.S. 7413 Clause 5.8
- 70mm internally beaded profile (standard unless specified) coveted by all current B.S stabdard your assurance of quality and strength.
Roof
- PVCu clad aluminium roofing system (no galvanised steel) to B.S.C3
- 35mm Polycarbonate various shades available (see your estimate for chosen shade)
- Marley or similar concealed bracket guttering system
- Fully lined and welded box gutter system where required
- NEW For woodgrain roof, full aluminium colour coded external capping system
- All roofs conforms to currens B.S standard your assurance of quality and strength (B.S.5516/B.S.5750)
Glazing
- Class A (not B or C) double glazed toughened safety glass in all exposed areas as per Building Regulations (Grade A) to British Standard 6206/A. This is the highest specification in both strength and safety available in toughened glass throughout the U.K. The 28mm sealed units are argon filled for greater thermal efficiency, low K available on request as optional upgrade
- All glazing complies with B.S. 6262 for total weather proofing
- Security glazing system to prevent deglazing from outside, all internally glazed unless specified
Strength
- Roof loadings comply with British Standard 6399 which is not less than 500lb per square yard
- Side wall wind resistance complies with British Standard 6262 which is a minimum speed of 111mph
- Whan an internal tie bar is required, they are automatically included in both the structure and cost
Security
- Doors - 7 point high security lock
- Windows have espagnolette locking system with a night vent position, with locking handles
- All locks comply to B.S. 1004/A and B.S. 6496 for greater security
Ventilation
- Opening window(s) are provided (please see estimate)
- Automatic ventilating ridge built in trickle vent
Fittings
- Ridge cresting and finial are maintenance free (standard on Victorian and Edwardian models)
- Internal window boards are fitted as standard
